Lets Build A Web Site

We're going to build a website, you and me, right now. I won't be able to take your money, give you poor service, be slow to respond to updates, pretend to know I know your business or hobby better than you do, use techie speak to confuse you, tell you things you won't understand, not return your phone calls, or ignore you emails. Or any that annoying junk web site designers innately do... This is because I'm not going to build your site, you are (oh, wont it be great to skip this part of having a website built?!) So if you are ready to take the plunge (well, dip, it's really not difficult enough to say "plunge") join me and I'll show you exactly what to do (and put your credit card away, you're not going to need it because this is all free!)

Don't Buy Maui First!

You would be surprised how many people look for local technicians to build their website for them here on Maui. I have gotten hundreds of request in my time as a computer technician and have even taken on a few of those projects. Sadly though, Maui is probably the last place you would want to seek professional website assistance. But I would rather discuss the core problem at hand.

Don't Be Scared!

People are afraid of websites and feel like they have to get someone to take care of the entire process for them. The concept of buying, building, updating and maintaining a site seems to be terrifying when in actuality, anyone can do it, even your grandma (Mine does! Though she is probably the most tech-savvy grandma this world's ever seen!) My point is you can build your own site with no technical background, with no money and with nothing to be afraid of. (Isn't it nice to know there isn’t a catch for once?)

You Can Do This Yourself

Wouldn't it be cool to be able to build, maintain and update your own site, on your own time, without having to know a lick of HTML or anything of the sort? Oh, and at no cost. Yep, no one will ask you for a credit card or anything like that. Ad's you say? Nope, no ads on these sites, unless you want to get paid to have them there. It is totally up to you. (How else can I say "There is no catch...!")

How about this... instead of me just telling me what I already know you can do on your own,
I'll just prove it to you...

Here we go! Now for the (not so) hard part!

Congratulations...

You are now building your website. Yep, drag and drop, play around, just get comfortable. You can add your pictures, your text, a way for people to contact you, you can accept credit cards, you can add videos and so much more! And you are doing it yourself!

Did You Say Video Training?

If you want to really get the most out of Weebly and skip the entire learning curve you can get over 2 hours of high quality "How-To Weebly" videos for less than $20 mo. Though it's not required, it will be eminently helpful on getting your site up quickly. I know they are great videos, I helped produce them! (Oh, and you get access to ALL of the videos, well over 100 of them! They are all there to help you get on the net without technical help and without spending any money on a Maui website design. :)
