New viruses are released every day and it seems like Windows is always crashing due to some bug. Fortunately Microsoft is almost always releasing some new patch or a fix for these issues (usually on Tuesday.) By simply having your computer patched and updated you may be preventing hours of repair work, headaches and potential data loss.

To update your computer with the newest Microsoft patches:

• 1. Navigate to Windows Update
• 2. Follow the directions.

The process will different on different systems, but the site will show you step by step what you need to do. Don’t fear this site. Microsoft has done a great job of ensuring you can easily and safely get what you need!

You should update your computer weekly (if not daily) to prevent the most severe (and undiscovered) problems before they take hold of your system.
