Learn to Blog for Free - Videos!

I just launched a new website with my dad. It is a free blogger video training site that will show you how to create, setup, use, edit and do just about anything else you could possibly do with a Blogger blog and its all free. This is a GREAT way to get started on the net if you don't have a website and if you have no technical background. We will even show you how to add Ad's to your blog so you can earn some money too.

I'm Back! - Maui Computer Repair and Search Engine Marketing

So I'm back in the computer repair world. Trying to focus less on computer repair and more on Internet Marketing.

Over the last year I focused solely on website development and search engine marketing and I have learned two things. I don't want to build websites, but I love making them sing in dance (in a "get lots of traffic from customers" kind of way.)

So if you already have a website and would like to know what you can do to make it actually "GET CUSTOMERS" contact me. There is one catch though. I will only work with one client per industry in any given area. This way you can rest assured I will never help your competitors.

Papali At Wailea - Wireless Option!

Talk about stunning property, Papali Wailea has it all! What interested me most though was the fact that this is one of the few properties that I see promote the fact they have a secure wireless option in each unit.

This day in age, every hotel, condominium complex and house should have wireless internet. Papali's doing this right.

I have been a computer technician for the majority of my life and I see people unknowingly do the dumbest things to their poor computers daily! So, if you want to join the ranks and demolish your PC without any effort at all, follow along!

Lets Build A Web Site

We're going to build a website, you and me, right now. I won't be able to take your money, give you poor service, be slow to respond to updates, pretend to know I know your business or hobby better than you do, use techie speak to confuse you, tell you things you won't understand, not return your phone calls, or ignore you emails. Or any that annoying junk web site designers innately do... This is because I'm not going to build your site, you are (oh, wont it be great to skip this part of having a website built?!) So if you are ready to take the plunge (well, dip, it's really not difficult enough to say "plunge") join me and I'll show you exactly what to do (and put your credit card away, you're not going to need it because this is all free!)

Free Alternatives to Expensive Software

So much of the software out there is so ridiculously expensive that it makes it nearly impossible for most people to get started with even basic computer tasks. Take for example someone who wants to learn to build websites. Purchasing Photoshop, Dreamweaver and a slew of other programs is already running you into a four digit price tag. So I'm going to show you how you can get by on a zero dollar budget and get access to amazingly powerful tools.

6 Simple Ways To Put A Computer Technician Out Of Business

I got to thinking today about my job, career, life or whatever you want to call it. I'm a computer consultant/technician or as most would call me, a bonafide geek. I do mostly house calls and business disasters, but I'll build a website here and there. But that does not matter here, what I am getting at is that there are so many computers out there that have problems that they should not be having, and it is simply because most people are not educated in general maintenance and prevention.

Every time you view a webpage, information begins to accumulate on your hard drive. Small pictures here and there, blocks of code, large background images, and overtime they start to take up a lot of space. It can also build an accurate time line of what you have been using your computer for. So let’s free up this unneeded junk and regain our privacy by installing and running CCleaner from Piriform Ltd. (Oh, did I mention its free?)

Google (Toolbar), AOL (Toolbar), Microsoft (Toolbar), Mozilla (Toolbar) have all created and distributed software that saves your credit card information on your computer for your online shopping convince. What happens next you ask? It doesn’t work! Yep, you installed HotSync using the disc’s that came with the device or you downloaded the current version and neither plays well with Windows Vista. Well fortunately there is an easy fix and that fix is HotSync Manager 7.0.1 and Palm Desktop 6.2 (or higher.)

How to Refill a Cartridge

The whole process of refilling an almost spent ink cartridge is fairly easy if you do not mind the possibility of ruining some cloths or staining a table top. On the same side of the coin is that it is considered illegal, although some might say that the prices charged in the first place constitute usury. In any case, the process is going to go on so understanding how to lessen the chance of trashing some cloths may be worth it.

So, if you like I just took the plunge into Vista thinking it would make everything better and faster I’m sure you are as just as disappointed. So without giving you any technical reasons as to why it’s running slower (on the same computer you were using with Windows XP just a week ago…) lets jump right into speeding things up.

Warning Signs Of A Computer Breakdown

The scary reality about computer crashes is that the warning signs are few—if they exist at all—and even when you know what to look for, these signs can be very difficult to detect.

For this reason, computer backup is necessary every day, because it's near impossible to know if, or when, your hard drive is at risk of an imminent crash.

And now my printer is broken

I have been asked on several occasions about maintaining printers. Laser Printers maintenance and Ink Jet Printer maintenance is quite different, but many cleaning techniques are the same. Read below to ensure your printer stays healthy!

Keep Your Printer Healthy: How to Avoid Common Problems

Of all the peripherals and devices on the typical desk, the one usually taken for granted is the printer. Most of us don't pay much attention to the printer unless something isn't printing the way we want it or it won't print at all!

Backing up your computer

How many of us backup our computers regularly? It is a hassle! Waiting potentially hours for your files to be copied over to some backup disk is irritating, and doing it weekly seems too often! Even I forget to backup my system some times for a couple of months, but it always happens... We loose a file, or worse yet, an entire hard drive. But how expensive could it possibly be to recover from a failed hard drive? How critical is it to backup our system regularly?
